Our vision is to develop, promote and support the sport of table tennis with programs for all ages, abilities, communities, genders and raise awareness about the physical, social and mental health benefits of this inclusive and diverse activity for life.
North Shore Table Tennis Club is operated by the North Short Table Tennis Society, a not-for-profit organization run by a board of directors whose goal is to provide a high quality, inclusive playing experience for members and non-members alike.
The club was founded in 2015 by Luba Sadovska, a highly qualified table tennis coach, and her partner Claudine Gunn, both of whom continue to serve on the board of the Society. The club aims to develop programs for players of all age groups and all levels that benefit both their mental and physical health whilst providing an affordable, safe, high quality recreational facility for Vancouver residents from across the city.

Table Tennis the sport that makes you use your brain the most
..it is a real combat sport, it’s a real Duel . It’s the combat between two opponents that seek each other’s weaknesses, and once they are found, they exploit them in order to win.
..it is one of the fastest racket sports, requiring muscular and cardiorespiratory endurance. Players need nimble footwork and upper body flexibility to return balls that can fly over 60 miles per hour, demanding faster response times than tennis or badminton..
..it is highly aerobic, uses both the upper and lower body, is great for eye hand coordination and reflexes, and causes to use many different areas of the brain at once when tracking the ball, planning shots and strategies, and figuring out spins.
..it is like aerobic chess. Plus, Table Tennis is the second most popular organized sport in the world.
