North Shore Table Tennis Club is pleased to announce that it has been selected as
one of the clubs to launch the inaugural season of Minor League Table Tennis
(MiLTT) this fall. The club’s owners, Luba Sadovska and Claudine Gunn, are excited
to bring a taste of Major League Table Tennis to players in British Columbia.
MiLTT participants will get to experience the thrill of MLTT’s team-based format,
improve their competition skills and create fun memories. Players and teams will
also get to assess their performance as they rise in the rankings on their club
leaderboards at MLTT.com
Players of all ages rated above 500 (good Intermediate Level) are invited to register. Individual ratings will be used to assign players to teams to create competitive balance. Teams will have 4 players and each team match will include 4 singles matches, 2 doubles matches and the league’s signature Golden Game, where every player on the team rotates in every 4 points in a race to 21. The 2024 Fall season at North Shore Table Tennis Club will take place every Thursday at 7pm PT on the following dates:
September 12, 19, & 26 October 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 November 7, 14, 21, & 28 December 5 & 12 2024

SPINDEX in Season 2. What is SPINDEX ?
The SPINDEX Rating (Standardized Pong INDEX Rating) System estimates a player’s skill level on a scale from 0 to 3000. In each singles match, the winner and loser exchange points based on their relative ratings. For example, if a player with a 2500 rating competes against a player with a 2400 rating, the higher-rated player is expected to win, and 6 points will be exchanged if they do. However, if the 2500-rated player loses to the lower-rated 2400 player, which is less likely, the point exchange would be 22. Players who have been inactive for over 1 year will have their rating reduced by 25 points every 3 months.
